Toyota Supra concept teased ahead of Geneva Auto Show
SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt., March 1, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Toyota has finally decided to acknowledge that the Supra is potentially coming back into the main Toyota lineup. This was acknowledged in a quick press release, with the headline “The Legend Returns,” though the inclusion of the word “concept” has many hopeful buyers disheartened. However, Toyota holds to its commitment, signaling in the release that this concept “signals Toyota’s commitment to bringing back one of the most iconic sports cars to the market.”
The vehicle in question, the Supra, has had little information released on it, though Toyota did put out a teaser package for the press to enjoy. From what readers can tell, which isn’t very much, the new Supra will have a roof suited for helmets thanks to its shape. This holds to the idea introduced by the Supra, which is a racing vehicle, and that Toyota intends to make the coming model a “modern racing concept” vehicle.
It is important to note that this model is a motorsport-themed one, so interested buyers can’t expect the concept being shown at the Geneva Auto Show to be a preview of the production Supra. The concept itself will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6, at 3:45 a.m Eastern Time.
